CARPET COLOUR DISCLAIMER
Due to the many variations in monitors and browsers, the colour of our products may appear different on different monitors and browsers. Computer monitors are not all calibrated equally and colour reproduction on the Internet is not always accurate. Since it is not possible to guarantee our product colours will look the same on all computers, we do not guarantee that what you see accurately portrays the colour of the actual carpet. We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours and images of the products we make and that appear on our website but cannot guarantee that what you see is a true representation. If it is important that the colour be a match, then, it is highly recommended that you view the carpet sample before placing an order.
Note: Just because certain ranges have the same colour name that does not mean they are the same exact colour. Also, don’t mistake the colour name to be what you may think that colour should be. Example, just because a colour may have the name Slate, it does not mean it will necessarily look like what most people would consider being a Slate colour. Please do not order carpet using colour names as your guide, always view the sample before placing an order.
While our manufacturers diligently strive to align dye lots, it’s important for customers to be aware that the product may exhibit colour shades and variations. This includes instances where exposure to UV light may influence the colour. Shading is a common characteristic of all cut pile rugs and carpets, often manifesting as water marks in appearance. Rest assured, we aim for consistency in dye lots, but the inherent nature of these products may result in subtle differences.
VARIATIONS IN FLOORING
Oak, Timber, and Hickory are natural products. Due to the many facets involved in the manufacturing process, each batch, while reasonably consistent, will display possible grade and colour batch variations, including differences in grain, sap, lines, knots, cracks, etc.
The samples in our showroom are just that – a snapshot of one piece of nature at a given time. Showroom samples may deepen or lighten based on the surface colour and exposure to both direct and indirect UV light.
Furthermore, please be aware that images found on the One Source and our suppliers’ websites may not capture all the features and variations you can expect to see on your floor.
When purchasing carpets and flooring, the customer recognises and comprehends the potential for colour variations and discrepancies in flooring products, often referred to as “shading.” This inherent characteristic is present in various flooring products, such as ceramic tiles, carpets, timber/oak/hickory and wood-look boards, and may result in variations from the sample to the delivered product. It’s essential to note that the provided sample serves as an indicator solely for the shade and finish. Furthermore, the customer acknowledges that shading is not considered a manufacturing defect, and neither the manufacturer nor the supplier assumes liability for any flooring products that may exhibit shading effects.
