We were thrilled to once again join builder and designer, ‘Dental Projects Group’ to create a beautiful and functional space for Strathpine Smart Smile. Dental Projects Group is a boutique design and construction company that specialises in the fit-out of dental surgeries, so we’re proud to work as an extension of their project—providing quality flooring and expert installation.

Area: Throughout the practice including the reception, treatment rooms, bathrooms and offices.

Creating an Incredible First Impression
The Strathpine Smart Smile reception and waiting room serve an incredible first impression. The project’s Designer selected Interface Modular Carpet Tiles — the perfect product for big-impact spaces while still delivering on practicality and budget. The outcome was a well-thought-out design that would relieve the fears of any treatment avoider. The colours, greenery, natural colours and textures from the environment create a calming space for all patients.

The biggest consideration for our client was choosing a flooring solution that was going to be hygienic and meet Australian health and safety standards. On top of this, the flooring needed to be highly functional and well presented.Â

Hallways & Lunch Room
In dental clinics, the use of commercial sheet vinyl is often necessary for germ-resistance. For this project, we installed Timberline Heterogeneous vinyl sheets by Armstrong. These Vinyl sheets feature a high commercial rating, making it robust enough to be installed in high-traffic areas, whilst still complimenting the interior design.

- Heat welding joins protects floors against germs.
- Impervious surface allows for quick and easy cleaning of spills and soiling.
- Low maintenance, protective polyurethane reduces initial and ongoing. maintenance and increases scuff resistance.
