Like timber, carpet replacement costs can vary significantly. But at the end of a long day when it’s time to wind down, there’s nothing quite like the feeling of bare feet on a super-soft carpet.
So how do you choose a residential carpet that’s really going to add value to your property? Well, there’s a few things to consider:Â
- Fibre type – to truly add value, we recommend selecting a quality soft nylon or wool carpet.
- Carpet backing & construction – choosing a carpet with a structurally sound backing will assist in its longevity. If you’re not selling your property right away, you want a carpet that’s going to look just as good in 12 months as the day it’s installed.
- Stain resistance – this is always a great selling feature, especially for young families.
