1.Selecting The Perfect Colour
Generally, colour is usually the most important factor for One Source Flooring customers. While we have a large selection in our Nerang Showroom, it’s important to trial the colour of your chosen carpet, vinyl, timber or hybrid floor in your home. We suggest booking a free measure & quote and placing samples near existing walls, furniture and adjacent flooring prior to making your final decision.
2. Factor In Your Family (Especially The Furry Ones)
If you have young children or pets, it’s important to factor in the use of the room/s that you’re selecting flooring for. As a locally owned and operated family business ourselves, we know how important it is to have flooring that is not only beautiful but functions for your entire family too.
3. Choosing the Right Pile (for Carpets)
We source carpets that are either cut pile, loop pile or a combination of the two.
Cut pile carpets are created by cutting yarn loops, producing an upright pile that’s more luxurious underfoot. Loop piles, on the other hand, are simply loops of yarn, which can yield a variety of different patterns and finishes. Loop piles are popular for their durability while cut pile carpets are less likely to show tracking. The best way to find the right one for you? Drop into our Nerang Showroom, kick off your shoes and give them a test-drive!
4. Installation Guarantee
While it’s important to look at the manufacturer’s warranty on your new flooring, it’s also important to ensure that there is a guarantee on the installation. That’s why we offer all customers a 5-year Installation Guarantee! This is above industry standard and is important in ensuring that your flooring stands the test of time.
5. Delivery & Install Timing
If the installation of your flooring needs to be scheduled with other trades, it’s important to ask the turnaround time early in the selection process. While some stock may be held in-house, this isn’t always the case, and there may be additional lead times.
6. Choose a Reputable Supplier
When it comes to selecting, preparing and installing flooring, the big guys aren’t always the best choice. Look for a supplier who has hand-picked expert, reliable Installers. A sales team that’s knowledgable about the entire process and a hands-on business owner that will give you honest advice and recommendations.
